Nope but the wife is. Ironic given that I'm the fat unfit one but my cholesterol is low!

My grapefruit soap from Professor Blighty arrived today and what can I say but WOW!

The scent when I opened the tub and had a sniff was so good I was tempted to lick it. I didn't though, having been caught out like that before. :-/ It's a really zesty, tangy grapefuit scent and exactly what I was hoping it would smell like. Fortunately I shave in the evenings, so I scuttled off upstairs to give it a try. It loaded and lathered easily, producing a wonderfully thick and creamy lather that was very slick and smelled wonderfully grapefruity. I honestly feel that the performance is up there with the big boys, and after shaving my skin feels really soft.

The tub minus lid weighs 216g, so I'm guessing that I've got 200g of soap which is a bargain for the price, and the wide tub makes loading the brush easy. If you haven't tried one of Professor Blighty's soaps, you really should give one a try.

Thanks Chris, really glad you like the soap. You are quite right, the tub contains 200g of soap, and because it's glycedrine based it should last ages.

For those who are interested here is a link to what I have available at the moment, obviously there are special orders too, which will take a bit longer to organise. Also ignore the prices on ebay as mates rates apply on here.

Prof - not wishing to derail the thread but could you make a coal tar shaving soap? I used to love the smell of that old fashioned soap when I was young.

Anytime you like. Coal tar is one of my favourites too. Don't know why I haven't brought one out before.
