Hello from a crusty ol' Marine

Hello all, stumbled upon the site while googling. I am a retired Marine and a shaver of about 35 years. I am relatively new at wet shaving though. I did a lot of "hurry up" semi dry shaving with a crappy disposable while in the service so I see this DE shaving is sort of a luxury. I am not venturing out of necessity as I have gotten some tremendous shaves from my Mach III over the last few years, but there is something about DE shaving that makes it not only a pleasant task, but a hobby. The only problem I am having is neck shaving. I was always able to shave ATG with a cart but it's almost a no-no with a DE. I reckon practice and patience will cure that eventually.

Hi and welcome to TSr Steve! :D Light touch is king, both with DE:s and straights, do another pass rather than two or three with presure.
