Got this today, I know the bristles have been cut down. I can only make out Made in England, a word starting with s and ending in on and Steralzed. It has a handle of about 1 3/4".
Other than that I have not got a clue about it other than it cost 10p at a boot fair..........:icon_razz:

Edit.............after a clean I think the handle is made of wood

It looks more like catalin in the pic than wood, but what an interseting shape.
I've no idea what make it is but I bet youre hoping its an old Simpson;)

regards, beejay

Definitely catalin; I don't recognise that shape as an old Simpson, I thought it looked like a Culmak but really couldn't say for sure.

Beejay, it may be heading your way at some point..........:icon_razz:

Tony, you may be right. I figured at 10p even if I only use it for cleaning the car dashboard it's a bargain. And it's quite interesting.............whats catalin btw?
Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Catalin is an old resin. It's often confused with Bakelite but the two aren't quite the same.
