High Steet After Shave Balms

What are the favourites that can be bought at the High Street Chemist.

They all seem expensive compared to a tube of Palmolive Shaving Cream.

Are there generic creams that do the job as well?

The Nivea balms that I have used seem to perform well, but they have the habit of giving them sh*te names.

Nivea Extreme Comfort - which, I believe is currently on offer in Boots
Nivea Cool Kick - Has a bit of alcohol and some menthol.

See what I mean about the names?

Both have worked well for me.

I've not noticed it being especially so, quite the reverse actually - but you know some people have different pain thresholds

Loads of places sell it - the price varies considerably though from 79p to about £3 for a 200ml bottle - amazing the difference in price for the same stuff (down to the bottle design etc - just the label different)

My local has it for £1.50 for 200ml

Yup - I think there are 3 manufacturers in the UK - at least there are only 3 pharma licence numbers I've seen on all the brands I've passed by.

Ah, ta very mooch. I found some in Boots but it has tea tree in it, which doesn't float my boat at all.
