How to price razors

Im really not sure if this is in the right place or is allowed so i apologise if not..

Something that arose a few weeks ago with me has made me think about getting rid off a fair few of the razors and other shaving related stuff i have and raise some much needed cash but my issue is how to go about pricing some of my razors...

I have gone through the B/S/T to get a feel for the prices i should be asking but i can't seem to find a price to ask on one razor in particular that i want to sell because of it's condition it's a #77 in a mint case with the blade holders the razor has never been used as it still has the cellophane wrapped around it although it has become brittle and split at the base of the handle so that area is not covered with cellophane...

Any help would be great as i really need to start getting rid of stuff before i change my mind as much as i love the stuff i have it's time to pass some of it on....

Have you looked st completed listings, which did sell, on ebay? The benefit of selling auction style is that by and large it will sell for whatever the most someone is prepared to pay for it, and ebay is arguably the biggest auction site so gives you the largest possible audience

Oh i think as i'm an upstanding member of TSR, you should discuss it with me and i can advise you on the best ways regarding this razor and how it can become mine !!!!!!! :icon_twisted::icon_twisted::icon_twisted::icon_wink:

That's a very nice looking razor.

The recent prices on ebay for #77's have fluctuated a bit.

The one that went for £90 (this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330739450913?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649#ht_500wt_1202) has a different design in terms of connecting the head and baseplate than most other #77's out there.

The recent auctions have been:

I'm sure that there's a few people out there who would pay big money for a cellophane sealed #77.

I'd certainly make you an offer - I would unwrap the razor and use it myself though, which might not be the best thing to do to your particular razor.

My feeling is that the best home for it would be in the hands of a collector (such as Sunburyboy or a couple of other people on here) who would keep it sealed and appreciate it for the work of art that it is.
