I must not buy another brush

Currently i have a 404 Bodger, Semogue 1305 and a LiJun & 1980 badger and feel i have enough and I'm happy with them BUT something is telling me to buy the boar Semogue SOC in cherry wood as i think its a lovely looking handle and since i have the 1305 its only fitting i should own the SOC.

How do i stop myself from buying this brush.

€23.95 from Vintage Scent is so tempting.

The most anyone lays claim to that I've seen is 215. Makes me feel like an amateur.

Quick question regarding Vintage Scent. When i got my 1305 the packaging was all torn at both ends and you could see what was inside it. Has that happened to anyone else?

I was surprised it got delivered with the state it was in.

I seem to remember getting a battered parcel from Vintage Scent, but the contents were just fine. Also, there was a time when 3 seemed excessive to me, too :roll:

Vintage Scent usually pack in envelopes so yeah had a few with the corners torn but contents all intact.

Here was me thinking my local postie was a thieving git and felt my brush was useless to him.

I've got two boar bristle brushes; on cheap black handled job from the local chemist; the other a Vulfix Old Original.
These are helping me get back properly into shaving again after briefly toying with ones like Men U etc. Now eyeing a Kent pure, or even a Best Badger at John Lewis...

Thanks Alan; that was a very useful link! I'll have to reassess my options for my first badger brush. The thought of efficient effective lathering sounds like a real face meal. :hungrig
