Boar: SOC Semogue
Synthetic: Muhle or Edwin Jagger XL
Badger: Simpson Chubby if you like short handles or Polo if you like big handles. Best if you like some scrub, Super if you don't. Or Shavemac DO1

Definitely agree with Paul's recommendations ...and the Simpson Classic 1 synthetic is a lovely little brush eh Paul! 
Also another few options would be Boar: Semogue 610
Badger: Simpson "Duke" 3 Best
Synthetic: Plisson or Razorock do some good ones.

An Omega Boar and the bigger the better. A 20102....

Isn't the Proraso brush just an Omega 83? The Omega 83 is cheaper than the Proraso and I am pretty sure they are exactly the same. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It's cheaper but the Proraso has a shorter loft so it's not actually the same brush.

Cheers for the info Dipesh... I stand corrected! I could have sworn they were the same. It even gave pretty much the same specs on Connaught but says the Proraso Brush has a shorter loft? Now I am confused haha.

A few years back they were the same, it's been round 2 years or so since they have they own unique one.

Yep! I know the Simpsons synthetics divide opinion but I love the fibers, shame I found the handle too small....and the Simpson Classic 1 synthetic is a lovely little brush eh Paul!
