Och Aye the Noo..Those are Amongs the Best Ever Made..I Have a Stash of them..Sharp & Smooth..Has anyone used this blade before? I snagged two NOS cartridges:
Och Aye the Noo
Aye..Those Dutch Plats are Smooth Man..Oh Yeah..Well, I tamed this "beast". Slipped a new Dutch Platinum into the Schick Model M adjustable and set it on "5". That did it!! Next time I will try "7" as "5" is somewhat mild. With Wickham Spice Trade soap it made for a great smooth shave.
If you find you don't get on with them give me a shout, I have never had the chance to use these blades but I gather they are very good indeed. I won't hold my breath! An old player has come out of retirement to battle for the best blade position:
I had about 65 or so of these in DE form, but sold almost all last Fall as the profit margin was hard to ignore. I was one of the few who was not totally swept away by their performance in the past. Yes it's a Helluva blade, but I never got the astronomical amount of shaves from one that many claim. Color me curious as to how they work in injector form. Ill try to use one in the next week.

I've only seen the 74 DE blades but never the injectors, they are supposed to last and last and they are as rare as hens teeth so I dare say people are asking over the odds.Oh never tried them, the price people are asking for them are ridiculous...

Ironically, what s great about an injector is the change mechanism, so why would you want a blade that lasts and lasts forever !

Have you seen the price of Schicks from Japan or prolines? Why wouldn't you want your blade to last as long as possible? I agree with you regarding the mechanism but why wouldn't you want a blade to last as long as possible and still provide a good shave?Ironically, what s great about an injector is the change mechanism, so why would you want a blade that lasts and lasts forever!
