I am extremely proud to announce that my first child, a beautiful baby boy, was born last week in the early hours of Wednesday 15th May.
Despite a difficult labour, his mother is recovering well, and the little chap is thriving. We are exhausted but thoroughly elated parents.
In keeping with his dad's penchant for music and film, he shares his birthday with musicians Brian Eno and Mike Oldfield, and actors James Mason and Chazz Palminteri.
The little fella is pictured here at about 8 hours old.
