Leather for Travelers Notebook..

Looking for some leather to make my own Travelers Notebook at a reasonable price, size i am looking for is 14" x 9" about 2.5mm or thicker, in brown, any ideas?

Ebay seems to be a minefield, especially on thickness.

Can any of you gents point me in the right direction?

Have used these guys many's a time as have lots of folks I know: Le Prevo

Often worth phoning them to see if they have an offcut - also check the special offers section for certain hides and pieces. Their dyed-thru brown leather is gorgeous.

Also, I've bought a good few belt blanks from leatherandstuff on ebay over the years and they are always top quality.
