A little project i have been working on for a while. Thought I better get it finished. The pivot isn't the neatest, and the razor and scales need a good Polish but it's time to hone and give it a go.

The blade is a Sheffield steel wedge of unknown maker.

Yeh brass with a copper wedge, silver soldered together.

Why thank-you, it needs a lot of polishing and making pretty but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Excellent work,did you make the scales they look very different.Are you going to polish the scales if so you could give them a coat of Renaissance wax so they stay bright and don't tarnish unless you are after the tarnished look. Ed

Yes I am lucky enough to have access to a cnc mill at work. I will be polishing the scales. I have never heard of Renaissance wax, I may need to give it a go.
