Quick update:
After a few mornings persevering with the R41 and a change of blade to a Gillette Blue extra i seem to be making progress!
this morning was actually ok, with just a small nick on my top lip, a few cold water solvable weepers on my neck and a very smooth face.
I don't think this will be a working morning shaver - just weekends or when i am on leave as it does take a little longer, having to take my time etc but it will definately get used.
It doesn't yet enter my favourites however.
