Maggard international economy shipping, safe?

I would like to buy from Maggard (less than $10 order, a synthetic knot) using the international economy shipping fairs (no tracking):
- is the shipping safe? (I mean will it arrive to the UK?)
- are there any import taxes?

Yeah it seems ok,I bought a couple of soaps and they arrived 2-3 weeks later.
I never got hit with any import tax.

You should be fine. $10 ought to slip through the duty cordon. I've used their International Economy option a few times and everything came through safely in under a fortnight.
