Thanks!@patw @Rohleder @pimple8
Hi gents,
I didn't forget about you (how could I?).
Just a quick update on the Fine Platinum EDT.
I've worn it over the last two days to get a better idea on how it performs.
The opening is very close to the aftershave but more subtle. It lasts around 5 hours. By this time it's close to the skin. I do get a whiff of it occasionally later in the day.
Maybe it does last longer and my nose has got used to it?
The dry down (which you don't get with the aftershave) is very similar to the original (Creed) version. Which I believe is Ambergris? Musk and salty...which is nicer than it sounds.
Would I buy it again? No but I would buy aftershave again though.
I haven't tried any other clones so can't comment.
I will be using the original on Sunday. A mate has loaned me a bottle.

Completely missed this Rob. Thanks for the mini review, sounds more like Cologne than EdT? Perhaps I'm expecting too much but I think I'll pass on these.
I think the aftershave lasts longer (on me).
You tell me @Rohleder because I have no ideaDo my eyes deceive me or is that in fact a thin handle Tech?
You tell me @Rohleder because I have no idea
Thanks, @Rohleder really appreciate your help, I've got the thin handle tech, never mind I'm keeping the British Thin Handle Tech while I'm still on the hunt for the 1940's British Fat Handle Tech
