Meat mincer and sausage maker

Going to get a mincer/ grinder with sausage maker but not sure wether to get the attachment for my kitchenaid mixer or a stand alone mincer like this one

I have the Kitchenaid kit but bought it all in the US so it was much cheaper.

You might want to check out Weschenfelder (I may have spelled that wrong) - they do kits.

I bought similar one from a uk company; something like sausagemaker.co.uk or something. Very robust machine although it sits under the preferable sink now as most of these gadgets do.

I too use the Kitchenaid. Works fine for me and saves cupboard/work top space only having one machine.

Does the kitchen aid do a good job? We have one and this contraption looks quite good.

Works perfectly well enough for me. I don't use it that often but when I do it's fine. No complaints.
