If you are concerned about the comments on the bulkiness but still want an adjustable, you could always try a Progress instead. Haven't used on myself but they seem to be well liked.

Great razor.
Surprisingly, to me at least, the design goes back the 80's and the one I have is marked "Made in W. Germany"

There's always the Chinese clone - cheap as chips and reportedly very similar to the razor it's based (copied) on.
