Hi Fella's

I got my Mongoose razor a few days ago, and I must say it is very well constructed and is a nice bit of kit.

However I thought it would provide a shave more along the lines of my Feather Artist as it uses the same blade i:e very close. IMO it is about the same as the DE 89. Just wondered if anyone else found the same thing? I would class it as mild to medium razor. Perhaps I missed the memo on its bite, or am I doing something wrong?

I picked mine up this morning, so I've yet to shave with it, but the quick look I had at it revealed a substantial piece of metal.

What blade are you using? Try a Feather Super if you're finding the Pro mild. I'm perfectly happy for it to not bite.
 
I am using the Feather Pro the middle one of the three. I am not saying the lack of aggressiveness is a bad thing, I was just expecting it to provide a closer shave than the DE 89, or more like the Cobra perhaps.
