When a new kit or kits come one of the exercises that I do is similar to that of an actor on a new set. Just don't go out there and try to act without 1st going out there and walking around and getting comfortable with the set. Try to hold back on the enthusiasm of the moment and study what you've bought. Try lathering and 'shaving' it off 'Without' using a blade. See how everything fits together. The shave!
