New James Bond Movie Theme

Murder polis! Yon male falsetto is the most complete polar opposite of Bond that I can imagine. It goes way beyond metrosexual and if I hadn't ever heard of James Bond then after listening to this, I'd have thought he was a high class agony aunt. Oh you poor thing, come to Bond and I'll make it all better. The fella is a cold-blooded international spy killer, FFS! At this rate, Gok Wan will be the next Bond! :rolleyes:o_O:eek:
 
I have to admit - its poo. You need standards to be sung by time served crooners when it comes to Bond themes - although he's high in the charts he's not exactly 'time-served' - the song is just too lightweight.

I don't like what I've heard and think his voice is way too high in parts but I'll hope that in the films opening credits it somehow just works but I can't see it. I liked the Chris Cornell "Casino Royale" theme which I know a lot didn't but I thought it worked really well in the credits....I struggle to see the Sam Smith one doing so.

The ultimate test of a James Bond theme - Can you imagine Alan Partridge happily striding along the shoulder of a busy A-Road bellowing it out?
