New Razor, ... Any Tips?

Evening, not posted too much lately after settling on a regular rotation of gear. Couldn't resist this though which arrived today. I'm a bit scared, any tips?

Since using straights I've been looking at these but wondered how you go about maintaining it. Do you strop them on just the one side?
I imagine they're a pain in the arse to hone as well. Still there is something about them.

It looks very difficult to handle with the grip being so slim..... I'd be wary of using that on my face.

Go slow, shave only the flat parts of your face until your comfortable with it. No rule that says that you can't use 2 razors. The straight for the easy; a DE for the rest.
You might want to start by using the DE for the 1st pass and then use the Straight for the 2nd. Easier with less hair.
