I just collected the razor from Alpha Electroplaters in Sheffield.
The razors re plated in 24 carat Gold on a Nickel base, stunning job from them.
They do Silver, Gold and Rhodium. They will take work in by post and are a good set up for these finishes.
The prices are very reasonable less than you'd think.

I've got a couple of Aristocrats I want plating in Rhodium so I will be back there in a week or two when I have some spare cash.
You could ring or email them about your TTO's the set up's very good I saw the Rhodium tank/vat today.

John Smith (the boss) didn't seem keen on doing TTO's I took an Aristocrat for him to look at today. 3 Piece razors OK.
I have a Redtip in at Prestige in Mexborough for Nickel plating, see my other thread for details for them.

Have you got a picture angled to show the top cap? as this can be somewhat blemished on previous plating jobs I've seen.

Also, how much did it cost, as the website doesn't provide any pricing.

I have two New Standards. I am certain I will get one replated in gold now.
