Not Shovel Heads

Seems to be a rash of Shovel Heads on ebay - to anyone new to SE they're nearly all 1912's - brilliant razors but worth a lot less so take care.

Yep. The man is spot on. A 1914 "Shovelhead" hinges from the front... the 1912 from the rear...

I thought the 1924 hinged at the front and the 1914 at the rear..? I don't own either so it's entirely possible I'm wrong.

Just a heads up on the '14. The tabs that hold the razor in place often corrode off. Makes the razor very difficult to use, if at all.

The shovel head is pretty aggressive too, a right pimple decapitator.
