Had some of this three years ago back in the Mach 3 days, used some the other night from a tin that has sat there since my cartridge days along with a Gillette Slim Twist, forgot how nice this Foam is, nice thick creamy lather and the menthol is super cooling !

Went to Tesco just now to buy some as the tin i have is nearly empty, and NOTHING, tried asda......NOTHING, Sainsburys.......NOTHING

Dont want to treck into the high street to a large boots to fing NOTHING, does anyone know if the Boots stores still have this stuff ?

didn't realise it was scarce....?, none of the Menthol on Flea Bay either....(apart from this with a dodgy price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260745231080)

I used to get mine from Boots when I lived in Scotland. It is pretty nice for a foam, you're right, and my wife loved the smell. I used to use a white can if I remember rightly, I didn't have that blue one.

I've not seen it in ages but then I've not really been looking, I'd guess the larger Boots will have it if no-one else does. I see there is some on Amazon, I assume you'd already looked there and didn't like the price. It does last a long time, that big can.

It is good stuff. If we are in the States we bring back my father - in law the cocoa butter and vit. E variety which I found the best. We were there in September and it was hard to get that particular one, the rest is everywhere. I believe it has some 'slippy' stuff added.

Some of that variety here 8 quid > http://www.amazon.co.uk/NOXZEMA-Protective-Menthol-Refreshing-Shave/dp/B0045ZO74Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327167902&sr=8-1

Aint cheap, couple of quid in the states if I remember correctly.

I got mine - yellow - from a friend who bulk-buys off Ebay, but yes, you're looking at eight quid a tin for it. Makes the soap and brush route look very cheap...

If I remember rightly it was about £5 even in Boots when they sold it, (we're talking late 90s) but the can is super hefty and the foam is super concentrated and seemed to last about 3 times as long as a can of Gillette. I think I used to get about 3 months out of one can.

The blue variety not been sold on the UK high street for some time. I found a can of yellow stuff in Asda when looking for the Blue in about 2004, but it wasn't menthol THink it was almond - smell was horrible).

Should be grateful really, it was the lack of Noxeme that forced me to explore alternatives and eventually led to DE shaving and Proraso.

Proraso in the Red tin is very close to the Noxzema blue.

If I could find anywhere selling Noxzema / Proraso foam cheap and in bulk I reckon I could delete my TSR account :)

You may try one of your regular vendors on this forum. I hope we're cheap enough and we do carry the Noxzema and regular and red Proraso foam.

Nah, I just meant it'd remove the temptation to read the forum and be persuaded to try 'just one more' razor, blade, brush, soap, cream, aftershave, cologne.

...and was also a bit of a fishing/phishing exercise to see if anyone had a gross of cans knocking about in a dusty backroom somewhere that they could let go at a decent price.

I think you're lumbered with me for the foreseeable.
