Old dog, new tricks

I've always face lathered because that's the way I learned. Recently my son got me a present of a shaving stand set, with badger brush, bowl and razor holder. I decided to give the bowl a go and found I preferred the lather I get using it. Just shows you're never too old to try something new.

The lather thing is news to me but there was an old superstition about walking round a church withershins.

If I'm not mistaken the brolly one was only bad if you held it overhead indoors!
