At the ripe old age of 46 I've semi-retired another in a long line of cartridge razors and got a Jagger 89L. It's a steep learning curve (razor rash, still stubble around Adams apple, minor nicks).

But the shave feels like a real shave, at last!!!!
 
Welcome Mr G. 46 isn't so old on here, there are quite a few (ahem) distinguished gentlemen 20 years or so older.

Good first choice. Stick with it, that rash will be gone within a week or two, it doesn't take long to get proficient.
