i have some vintage Shulton OS & some P&G stuff
the Indian Shulton is as close to the vintage stuff as you can get and far superior to the P&G
the Musk is the best in my opinion but still unmistakably OS

get some!

pick up some Gillette Gaurd disposable razors with your order while your at it. one of the best i've tried
good for travel, gym, work etc

A couple of years ago, Paul at Connaught Shaving stocked the Lime O/S, but somebody cottoned on how nice it was and it all got swept up.

I never got to try it myself.

To clear up any confusion it says original on front P&G on back

No hint of the word classic
 
ive got the lime and i like it, but it does burn a bit. i use vintage shulton old spice, i absolutely love it, and have a couple of bottles extra stashed away. i used to use the old spice 'classic' and thought that was ok, but i started using the shulton stuff and i much prefer it, dont know whether its just a psychological thing but i do prefer it and also you cant whack a glass old spice bottle.
 
I picked up a bottle of Old Spice P&G in Asda recently which looked a bargain at £5.

When I got it home I realised it was only a 100ml, the one I already had was 150ml and I think that was only about £8, so not a big bargain, after all.

I used to use my Dad's OS and I honestly wouldn't have suspected the P&G stuff was any different from the Shulton, until I read this thread.

Didn't they make an Old Spice called 'Burley' in an amber bottle ? - or am I dreaming ?
