Jings crivens I thought getting hooked on razor and brush buying was enough! looks like our wee workshop will be adding a plating "division" now thanks for the heads up
I can see nickel plated brass razor stands and handles coming off the Lathe soon.

Be aware industrial platers use some pretty toxic chemicals in the process. The results using them will be better for sure.
Those chemicals can be bought and would probably be worth it for the more serious entrepreneur. I did this in my kitchen so I avoided using the nasty stuff. I didn't want to be using anything toxic at home but with the right chemicals any type of plating is possible.
