You've piqued my interest in that, thank you. I've tried to like 'Mr Robot', honest I have. Great premise, but I find the dialogue so clunky and tedious.

As with all this technology stuff, sure they can automate the collection of it, but who's reading it?

Imagination - all those hotshot analysts in the Jason Bourne films, with their bosses shouting across the room at them, and the data being punched up on huge screens.

Reality - bored temps slumped in their chairs, clicking 'Next' thousands of times a day, in a workplace more like Nev Wilshire's third largest Call Centre in Swansea. If you're unfamiliar with this BBC3 gem, take comfort in the fact that your privacy depends less on legislation than on the soaring indifference of solid citizens like 'Griff'.
