Razor ID; Gillette Old?

Evening Gents!

I picked this up off eBay the other day, and just used it for the first time today. It provided a DFS, but not as good as my dearest Aristocrat #21. Despite this, I'd rather like to include it in my travel kit, as its not as precious as my Aristocrat (I have a habit of leaving stuff in hotels :()

I've been browsing Mr. Razor as well as a couple of other sites and blogs etc, but I'm at a loss as to what exactly it is. The razor has no serial number or Gillette logo, so I'm wondering if its a copy maybe?

Regardless, I'm very happy with it.
Thanks in advance gents.

Could be. But has the obligatory crack in the handle so could be a Gillette!
Go for a fairly acute angle, as parallel to your face as you can, for best results. Says me who hardly ever uses mine!

Cheers NTS. I'm quite impressed by the way it handles, even despite 'going parallel' almost.

The crack in the handle is the reflection of the shower curtain rail. I just had to check again to make sure I'd not missed it. A few scratches on the head were found though :/

That's good news. Looks like a good'un then. Any brassing? I have never quite mastered mine (I have a copy and a 'real' one - I think) but I chop and change too much to have even 'apprenticed' it. have another coming with original box, blades and shaving brush handle (no knot though) from santa this year. I intend to master it over the week or so before returning to work.
