Hallo to everyone ,
i have a question about a rotbart mond-extra set which i had found on a flea market (in germany) 2 years ago. i have searched a lot through the whole www and some books and other forums but i couldn't find any equal set of it. it is a rotbart mond extra i think deluxe traveling set with two bladeboxes and one soapbox and one for the brush. also a mirrow and a safety razor which is marked with D.R.P.angem and D.R.G.M (instead of Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster = german empire used pattern therefore i think it was produced between 1936-44?). the razor are a three pieced one. the whole set is gold plated.
the razor itself has a extended inner tube like the new deluxe criterion/belmont gillette razors. it is the same razor like the razor pictured on the emblem of the mirror and containers. so far i never saw a gold plated rotbart razor again...
maybe someone knows that set or has the same one and can help me to identify it, if not enjoy the pics for me it is a keeper in my collection.
i've found 2 similiar sets but with other knurling and different head styles.
