Having had my Futur a week and using different techniques and blades today was the best result yet.
Prep- Hot shower and warm water rinse
Razor- Merkur Futur chrome on setting 3
Blade- Shark super stainless
Brush- Kent best Badger
Cream- TOBS lemon and lime
Post- warm then cold water rinse followed by Wilkinson sword Hydro aftershave balm.
3 pass shave, wtg, xtg and atg.
Result- bbs
I dont ever remember having such a smooth result and with no nicks, burn or bumps. Thoroughly chuffed.
