I found the same with the hone untill I found a blade that worked with the razor and me. Try a few different blades with it and see if it improves.Saturday's shave
Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Coal Tar Soap and Village Barber Shaving Oil.
Razor - Hone 15a (Black) - second use.
Blade - Astra SP (day 2).
Soap - OSP Eucalyptus Tea Tree Menthol.
Brush - Simpsons The Duke 2 Pure Badger Hair.
Post shave - OSP Eucalyptus Tea Tree Menthol Aftershave Tonic and organic aloe vera
Great shave, plenty of time this morning, went for a 4 pass shave.
Hone is a great razor - have not changed my mind after my first use yesterday. For me and I appreciate YMMV, I need more passes with the Hone, compared to the Muhle Rocca, or my ATT M1.
