SUNDAY EVENING

Razor: Mongoose polished head with UFO Godzilla handle
Blade: Feather Super Pro
Brush: Semogue 2011 LE boar 2
Soap: L'Occitane Cade
AS: Brut
Balm: Zirh Soothe
EDT (in morning): Davidoff Cool Water

This blade is still in it's initial fierce stage so I did a two pass (WTG and ATG) shave.

Yielded a good DFS shave (not quite BBS). A couple of small nicks through clumsiness and the sharpness of these blades.

Overall a decent finish.

Sapone : Soapy Bathman Cedar and Sandalwood
Pennello : Nero Ardesia 26mm Sivertip
Rasoio : Heljestrand Eskilstuna Royal Kindal 13/16
Strop : Paciccella in Cordovan
AS : Dr Harris Sandalwood

Monday

Morning, gents.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Super Max SS (3)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave soap: Wickham's Rose
Aftershave: Homemade rose splash
Cologne: C&S No. 88

Top BBS shave. I think I'll use Darron's soaps all week. You know, 'cos I'm worth it.

Second use of the 13 Tooth Clog Pruf. Effective but not as enjoyable as a Cobra. I reckon I have 7-10 more uses of this NSS Warm Spice so I'll be using every day to finish it off and make some space. I already have a part used Signature Warm Spice in the cupboard.

Razorocked...

Prep: Hot wash with dove soap.
Soap: Razorock XXX.
Brush: Vie-Long LEA Edition Horse hair.
Razor: Razorock Jaws OC.
Blade: Crystal SS.
Post: Vivea Sensitive Balm.

The Razorock lathered better than before but still not quite right for me but a nice 2 pass shave with a little irritation but nothing the Nivea couldn't handle. Going to persevere with the XXX for the rest of this week until I can sort the issues.

Bulldog Face Wash
Bay Soap Co. Arctic Blast
Muhle 33K256 Silvertip Fibre
Jaguar Orca & Jaguar JT2 (1)
Hot Rinse & Cold Rinse
Witch Hazel Toner
Blue Stratos Aftershave

Bowl Lathered
One Pass - WTG

Just a quick single pass after yesterday's excellent shave.

Bay Soap Co. Arctic Blast is a spearmint soap, clearly a glycerine soap given its boiled sweet colour and hardness, and really lathers up superb for a slick shave. The colour reminded me of glacial meltwater and the chilling blast from the spearmint without the harsh numbing of menthol was really refreshing.

You must have a few brushes now Paul, will you be including them in the museum? You should update the photo.

I will, Chris ... in fact I was just waiting for one to arrive today before taking a snap of the whole gang! It's a small gang, but a good bunch of lads :D
