Saturday

Morning, everyone.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJDE89
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock yellow (1)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave soap: Kell's Aloe and Hemp, Energy
Aftershave: Adidas Ice Dive
Cologne: Czech & Speake Citrus Paradisi

Easy and smooth start to the shave week.

Mongoose & UFO
Plisson synthetic
Le Père Lucien
Pitralon Swiss
Guerlain Vetiver

There's something conditioning in the Pitralon. There's a fair bit of alcohol sting on application yet it's soon calming and, as said, conditioning. A slightly oddball scent - a mix of baby wipes and pear drops - that's faint enough to not interfere with whatever fragrance I'm wearing. All in all, a good purchase and it sits happily with my bottles of Speick and Myrsol.

S.O.T.D. Saturday 18th April to Friday 24th

Earlier today:

Potter and Moore lavender shaving soap in original bowl
Vulfix 404
6 blade cartridge razor (I was curious!)
Cold water

Picked up this rare soap from the sorting office today. Really nice lavender scent (unsurprising given the company's history) and great slick, cushioning lather.
As it was NOS and I didn't want to spoil the bevelled text on the top of the soap I lathered off the bottom of the cake.

SATURDAY MORNING

Razor: Bengall 5/8
Strops: Vintage British strop
Brush: Muhle synthetic v2
Soap: Grandstaff coconut
AS: Lucky Tiger
Balm: Zirh Soothe
EDT: Pens Quercus

I have no idea who originally honed this Bengall as I bought it from the bay of Flea and it was covered in oil in it's coffin.

However, they honed it absolutely perfectly for me. It just wipes off bristles.

I got a bit of burn on my neck due to being over-zealous but it gave a great BBS.

The soap is superb and Quercus is another winner from Penhaligons.

Saturday 18th April - Menthol Shave

Nuage Shaving Oil
Ingram cream
Bamboo Synthetic/Face lather
EJ89
Ladas Super Stainless (1)
Alum block
Witch Hazel
Alcolado Splash
Nivea sensitive balm

What a super shave and my sinuses are really clear now.

SOTN - Saturday evening
Pre: Hot towel
Soap: Krampert's "Frostbite"
Brush: El Druida "Chubbic Dark Night" 26mm 2-band Finest
Razor: Ikon DLC Slant w/SE handle
Blade: NOS Gillette "Spoiler" SS (1)
Post: Cella Colonia Classica splash, followed by Krampert's "Frostbite" ASL
Whoa! This soap/ASL is frigid! Face-lathering after very little prep and still got a great 3-pass BBS. This vintage blade is true to its name, I'm spoiled. :)

Nuage shaving oil..
L'Occitane Plisson brush..
L'Occitane Cade shaving cream..
Puma 6/8 straight razor.....with new buffalo horn scales that I fabricated and fitted this morning and after a hone it shaves lovely.
M & S Harvard aftershave.
