I always get a really close shave with both Micromatics, in fact it's hard to put one ahead of the other. So close that I'll still have a smooth chin tomorrow afternoon.
I love the big 26mm knot of this brush. Easily whips up a copious/thick lather, especially with the OSP.

Another excellent soap from my backlog that I'm only getting around to using now. TFS certainly lives up to its reputation, lovely post shave feel.
An effortless shave all around really, well apart from the "Tiny" 733g handle. The 7 o'clock yellows are a lovely blade, very smooth.

Ah, yes @Scuba Steve , the Mongoose I'm liking it a lot so far, though I've only tried it with a Kai Sharpblade (I have a sampler blade pack on the way). It's certainly a heavy piece of kit!

Evening gents. Tonight I will use the Saponificio Varesino 2.0 brush, making lather from Roger & Gallet L'Homme soap. Blade (tbd) will be guided by a LASS BBS-1 on a UFO Titan Fine L handle. Post shave hydration and finish by Roger & Gallet L'Homme.

Using the light-tallow version 2 of Wickham's soft soap this morning. Fantastic shave. Rich/dense lather with excellent slip/glide & secret scent.
First shave with the BSSW Archduke, very nice! Plenty of backbone in this knot considering it has zero glue-bump, soft tips and zero scritch. Love it!

Third day of a short run with these Ever Ready Deluxe sets ...

This one is a later version and has a lighter, aluminium handle. The shave was just as excellent and the blade is now well worn in with three shaves ... smooth as she goes!
