I should probably know - but I don't. What is the razor, please, Shemen?
A Willkinsonsword Classic in black derling plastic (the German version) circa 2003. I think it's still available cheaply on the high street, a very mild incarnation of the sticky I believe, work well with a Feather.

Tonight's shave, and the first outing in a while for my Muhle R41 Grande.

Gillette preshave facewash
Muhle R41 Grande
Supermax stainless blade (1)
St.James Mandarin & Patchouli shaving cream
Vulfix Bodger 404
Alum block,cold water rinse.
Somersets balm.
3 passes-BBS. No nicks ,cuts or even a single weeper! Best shave ever with this,or any other razor. Only very slight redness which passed after an hour or so.

Brush: Custom 400 Boar
Soap: Huntlee - Master Lather - Sweet Tobacco
Razor: 1912 SE
Blade: GEM
Aftershave/EDT: Floris - Special No.127

Been down the gym this evening, feeling tired and aching so this shave was just what I needed. Palm lathered, two smooth passes and now feeling fresh and relaxed.

Prep: 'Witch' witch hazel face scrub
Shaving soap: Crabtree & Evelyn sandalwood
Shaving brush: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth ebony synthetic bristle
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Classic (German made)
Razor: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth barley (using Merkur 25c top plate)
Post: Ebario Toscano black pepper.

I had a few doubts about the shaving soap, because the last time I used C & E shaving soap (Nomad) was 3 1/2 years ago and I did get some irritation. Tonight's soap was a Christmas present from last year 2013. Nonetheless, a nice shave.
