Superdrug face scrub
Edwin Jagger Chatsworth ebony synthetic bristle shaving brush
Wilkinson Sword shaving soap
Merkur 25c handle with Boots DE head
Supermax razor blade
L Occitane CADE ASB.

A nice close 3 pass shave shave, WTG, XTG (R,L), XTG (L,R).

Merker Future (from pass-around)
Personna Lab Blue
Frank Shaving Silvertip
Arko Cool Cream face lathered
Arko Ice Mint ASB
Floris Cefiro

Excellent shave, Future is a BEAST, destroyed 3 days growth with ease and I'm left nice a clean.
However, blade change is a PITA, the adjustment is stiff, the head is massive and overall its quite slippery.
So its not for me but I can see how many love them.
The brush is AWESOME, really great Silvertip for little money.

And shockingly came home without buying anything.

Saturday shave (no rush)
Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: P.160 Tipo Duro (NOS)
Brush: Custom 782sirbrian Oak handle, birth-coin & 22mm WSP HMW
Razor 1: J.A. Henckels "415" (Father's razor)
Razor 2: 1969 Gillette Black Beauty (my birth-quarter)
Blade: Rapira Swedish Steel (3)
Post: Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, followed by Village Barber balm

Stupidly, I forgot to strop the razor before I started (I was so keen on using it again) but it didn't matter. 1st pass with the "415" was smooth (my technique is improving) and the P.160 was sublime. Only needed a minor touchup 2nd pass with the Gillette.
Yowza!

Saturday Shave of the day

Prep : shower + lather + hot towel
Razor : Gillette Tech
Blade : Q-Ball (1) ( Israeli Personna)
Brush : Semogue 1305
Lather : Mem Olive cream + Tabac soap
Post : Thayer's Witch Hazel + Tabac splash AS + Tabac EdC

q-ball_zpsf0ddcf79.jpg

Another extremely comfortable shave with this blade........smooth as I've ever used, it makes it into my top 5 favorites list. Uber-lather was perfect, Mem Olive and Tabac resulted in a lovely lather which I used also in my prep routine with the hot towel. Gillette Tech is my favorite razor and today I treated myself with the NOS razor I bought some time ago on ebay.
BBS result.
