I didn't shave all week out of curiosity. I felt scruffy and rough as a result. A calm, morning shave with some excellent pieces has left me feeling myself again.

SATURDAY MORNING

Pre: Hot rinse
Soap: Sir Irisch Moos stick
Brush: Semogue Cherry boar
Razor: Joseph Allen 5/8 Non-XLL
Post: Veg, Zirh AS balm
EDT: Davidoff Cool Water

Very nice shave today, though had to finish chin and moustache with a DE for the ATG strokes.

Pre: hot wash with dove soap, prorasso pre then hot flannel.
Soap: J Petermans 1903 cream
Brush: Vie-Long horse/badger mix.
Razor: Kropp 6/8 finish with 1966 Flare tip.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Post: Benjamins Bay Rum.

Nice smooth shave today, completed my first full face shave with the Kropp although I needed to tidy up with my DE, I am pleased at this progress. Nicked the crease of my nostril but it was hesitancy that caused it I think. The J Petermans 1903 cream is outstanding, I cant smell the bay rum, just the 1903.

Nivea Sensitive balm
Milton Lloyd Henley EDT

Really good. Near BBS. Since I got my Fatboy (maybe afew months after the Slim) I've rarely used the Slim, but today with shorter strokes and no pressure I got a very nice shave. Might have even been better if I'd used a brand new blade.

Saturday

I only wish they would ship it direct. For some reason it just seams to draw me to it.

You might look at the Malizia line of vetyver items to compliment the J Peterman experience. There's a nice AS and EdT that I Iike using and they are both very inexpensive. Having huffed other more expensive vetyver frags I much prefer the Malizia.

Neither one lasts long once applied, but very nice while it can be sniffed. Well worth trying though, especially since you like the 1903 scent.

I'm enjoying the Select range of soaps, I have the Sandalwood as well.
The soap's very easy to lather and makes a slick and dense lather. The post shave is good due to the Lanolin content. It may seem a bit expensive but there's 6.5 oz in the tin. The Fall is sold out 80 tins sold in a couple of days !

Saturday afternoon

Hot towel
WW2 shave brush thought I would give it a try (Its in the bin now)
Figaro shave soap (amazing soap ruined by the brush)
Gillette tech head 23c handle (looks great and a perfect long razor)
Alum block
Arko action AS
Arko MC AB
Not going out today.

Thanks

Oomer
