My first use of Proraso soap and I found it very nice indeed; easy to lather slick and a delicate pleasant sandalwood scent, great value at £4.99 delivered off e-bay. I really dislike menthol which is why I choose the less popular red to try.

Soap: J. Petermans 1903 concentrated shaving cream.
Brush: Parker CHST Silvertip badger brush.
Razor: Razorock Jaws open comb.
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux #2
Post: Malizia Uomo Vetyver Balm and deodorant.

Nice 3 pass shave with my favorite fragrances and soaps today, The J. Petermans is always a pleasure to use and smell, and the Malizia Uomo Vetyver is an excellent compliment to this cream.

The Razorock Jaws is quickly becoming my goto razor, no pressure required and the Rapira blade seems to be the perfect partner. Wonderfully smooth 3 pass shave with no need for touch ups. I took my new pet out for a spin today, and I have to say I love my new badger silvertip brush. Produced huge amount of lather and felt so soft, the handle is heavy but very comfortable in the hand and when wet did smell of wet dog, I am sure that after a few outings this will fade.

Nice, smooth and cut and nick free shave.

My new pet after it has its hair washed, blooming nicely.

Smashing shave, that!

Double II, basically a Trac II, but twice. Moreover, the correct shave angle is readily achieved by simply following the shape of the head which is contoured just right and much akin to their double edge razor:
