Hot Towel, Phoenix & Beau Solaris, Body Shop Synthetic, Merkur 39C, Astra SS (2), Cold Towel, Phoenix & Beau Balm (NP), Dolce & Gabbana 'Cologne'.
Such an exquisite shave was had today. I purposefully applied more pressure than you should today to see just how good the Balm is. The shave was still very good indeed (testament to the quality of the soap), smooth with no drama, blood loss or irritation at all. I may have to use a lesser quality soap and old blade to really see what the Balm is capable of. That said, it is a rich, deep moisturising balm, that offers an almost sweet honey type scent to the nose when inhaling from the warmed balm in your hand. I treat it like an oil based pomade and warm it in the palms through vigorous motion, then rub gently into the face and neck. Goes on easily, absorbs nicely and leaves me with no unpleasantries at all. A top notch balm.
