Penhaligon's Vaara. Sun is shining and this light, herbal, rosy smell is uplifting. The body of it is definitely rose, but not the sweetened, Turkish delight smell which I was concerned about receiving. As a blind buy this has been a good one. There's apparently a bit of quince in there, which I was unable to put my finger on. I could sense the tangy sweetness of it, but it's not sugary sweet (if you understand what I mean). Very complex but without overshadowing the rose. Very nice, will be using this a lot I'm sure.

Utter filth!
Today I will mostly be wearing;
Wickham Citrus Musk.
Lovely, dirty citrus smell. Lemony and musky, as the title suggests. The sun is trying to peak out but it's an overcast day - the a/s splash compliments the day perfectly.
As well may you Sir ! I am surprised, nay astonished, at such an ommision. More the act of a Flash Harry than a Flash Ashton methinks. Some Floris is urgently called for.
