Thanks
@traditionalshaving for the free limes cream, and for 'sweetening' the deal with the fudge, they went down well.
I gave the cream a go this morning, so these are my initial impressions after only one use, so are subject to change. I'll be using the cream for the next week or so to really put it through its paces.
Packaging:
Very smart cardboard box, with lovely graphics / branding on the inside of the box.
Minimal and classy presentation. Only gripe is that the actual clear tub that holds the cream is a little flimsy. It would also be nice to have a sticker on the bottom of the tub with the ingredients (and not just on the box which I'm sure a lot of people will toss). But that's nitpicking. The tub is quite small and would be good for travel use - so the tub quality could be improved, as it looks quite easy to dent.
Scent:
Very nice, bright citrus scent that is evident through the shave. I can really pick up the tanginess of the lime and grapefruit. If you like citrus, this is great. A nice middle of the road scent strength throughout the shave.
Performance:
This is based on a single use, so please bare that in mind. I was surprised at how slick the cream was, the razor glided effortlessly. Cushion could be a little better. Post shave was average - you got that squeeky clean, just washed your face with a bar of soap feel. And it was a little drying. Not terrible - a bit of balm and you're good to go.
Performance after the first shave is average to good. Again, middle of the road for me.
We'll see if my opinion changes through the next week with continued use. But my first impression is that there is nothing that makes this cream stand out in a crowded market. It's good, but not up there with the top performers.
Thanks again
@traditionalshaving for the opportunity to trying out your new cream.
