Silly vintage prices

I've been chasing a Fatboy for several months now and, correct me if I'm wrong, but the prices seem a bit silly bu**er.

Latest winning bids on Fleabay have been around £100 (not incl P&P). Likes of Etsy the same (if not more!). Granted, many of these seem to be from full time USofA Fleabay dealers but the price are excessive in my book.

Or am I wrong?

I'm not fixated on obtaining one, there are many other decent DE razors that come up on BST in this price range (or less!), but it would be cool to have a birth date Fatboy.

So...noting that I'm a Scotsman living in Yorkshire, what sort of price range should I be realistically looking at for a good to excellent condition Gillette Fatboy 1961 G-2 in the UK?

I reckon £60 ish would be a good starting point.
i paid £90 for mine but it was in a pristine case with original blades.
iv seen them go for a lot more so i definitely think i got a bargain
Bare in mind if you buy from the states you’ll more than likely incur import duty & that’s coming from a Scotsman living in Scotland :ROFLMAO:
