I use a lidded ramekin from Robert Dyas. The smallest size ramekin will easily take the larger sized soap discs. At the moment I'm using Erasmic shaving soap in the ramekin.
The only problem is that the disc is quite small and does move around a bit when I lather. So I'm wondering if it is possible to buy a double suction pad to keep the soap in place.
Also, a ramekin looks a bit odd in a bathroom, whereas a shaving bowl or scuttle would not. But it works well, and the upturned lid doubles as a shallow shaving bowl.
