Yes. I'm quick and confident enough with it to shave before work, and today I went up a gear from Proguard to a Pro blade :)

Lovely :). Cleaner, closer and more comfortable, for me - and I went months without so much as a mininick :).

Bath - using TOBS Mr Taylor's soap.
Mr Taylor's shaving cream
NF Tubby 1 brush
JEC handle | Muhle R89 head & Feather blade
Mr Taylor's aftershave balm
Mr Taylor's aftershave lotion
Mr Taylor's cologne
Mr Taylor's deoderant
Mr Taylor's talc

Perfectly smooth, however still taking too many passes and causing too much irritation. My face is less irritated tonight than it was last night...

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Shavemac D01 two band 30 mm
Razor: Mappin and Webb 1/4 hollow
Soap: MdC
AS+edt: Paco Rabanne, Ultraviolet
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean indeed :D

Lovely shave, this smooth shaver worked wonders together with the MdC soap and the brush's pure luxury (I really lather too hard against my chops, but it's such a nice feeling when I crush it against my throat :D).

Razor: Ever Ready 1914 Little Lather Catcher
Blade: GEM Stainless Coated
Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed
Cream: T.O.B.S. Mr Taylors
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Balm

My first shave with a 1914 and it was one of my very best shaves ever, it arrived yesterday from Florida (posted on 23rd Sept.) My first impression was, "that handle is too short to use", in fact it is not and in practice works well and in any event it is a very different and coarser thread rate to any of my 1912's so I have nothing to change it with anyway.

A really loud and easy razor to shave with, it feels gentle but seems super efficient at cutting whiskers. I could get to 'love' this razor.

Regards
Dick.

After many days of travel, finally I can post a "decent" shave, hehe

Pre Prep + De Verguldehand shaving cream + Kent BK8 Silvertip + Merkur 37c Slant with Iridium Super #1 + Floid Blue italian splash with 444

It's incredible the amount of foam that this Kent can get easily! A superb azquisition without any doubt!

I have tested for the first time this shaving cream as well. It has a nice "old style" scent but is not better than any other cheap one.

Cheers!
