SOTD Sat 8th Nov to Fri 14th Nov 2014

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

small rebranded Plisson AOS in horn
1958 Executive/Gillette Super Stainless (1992 NOS)
J. Peterman 1903 SC
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Aramis 'Havana' EdT (vintage juice)

This is one of three razors I use the most and was my go to one for a few years. The old blade from Argentina works well....third shave and very nice. Seems like a Spoiler kinda thing.

I am always reminded how much this razor suits me. Just shaving by sound....cushioned from any physical sense of whiskers being whacked. Not bad.

BBS results,

Martin

Nivea face wash
Aramis / Boots shaving soap mix
Omega syntex 90065 synthetic bristle
Shark superchrome DE blade
Edwin Jagger Chatsworth barley chrome razor
Ebario Toscano black pepper ASB

First DE shave in around 10 days. I've been using an Ever Ready natural angle SE razor for the last 10 days, but I found today's DE shave much milder and preferable. But I will make an occasional revisit to SE shaving.

18th Wedding Anniversary shave!
Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: Ralph Lauren Safari
Brush: Rubberset-400 replica with 26mm TGN Finest 2-band
Razor 1: J.A. Henckels "415" (Father's razor)
Razor 2: Ikon ShaveCraft 101 w/ SE handle
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel (2)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Village Barber balm then RL Safari EdT
I picked some of my favorite products for this very special of days. 18 years ago I married the beautiful redhead I call SWMBO. Today's shave went without issue. Soap lathered itself and filled the bathroom with its wonderful scent. Father's 415 has a wicked edge to it and mowed through the 2-day stubble. SC101 with the Rapira blade performed brilliantly to clear the tough patches and touch-ups. RL Safari EdT for the win!
