The Rocket was the razor my father, who was a engine mechanic on Mosquito's and Lancaster's during WW2, taught me to shave with, so given the date, I thought I'd use for a shave.

I haven't been using a brush this past month working away from home (BBA Shave butter and BBA Post)
Figured I should do it properly tomorrow! This shave shall he followed with a port chaser!

Saturday pm shave.
Two days' growth and warm shave
Preparation – Showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)
Pre: None
Soap: Saponificio Vareesino 70th Anniversary Soap
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable (setting 5)
Blade: Shark SS (5th)
Brush: Omega 641 Silvertip (bowl lather)
Post Shave: Cold water rinse, then Proraso aftershave Red and Nivea 2 Phase (maybe the other way around).
Oh me oh my, what a shave – I love the SV 70th Ann. Soap, the scent, the feel during and after my shave – just awesome. The shark on its 5th use did not make a single mistake and my Omega brush whipped up the loveliest lather – All in All, one HAPPY bunny
