Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ L'OREAL ~ Men Expert Birch Sap Shower Gel.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.

Face Lather.

Soap: Haslinger ~ Schafmilch Sheep Milk soap.

Blade: Gillette ~ Winner. (4)

Razor: Parker 22R.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Old Spice ~ Swagger ASL.

L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

Greetings,

Last use of the Gillette winner blade, which has performed with smooth efficiency with each outing showing no sins of dulling or dragging, paired together with parker 22R was yet again another wonderful indian made razor & blade duo. A great value for money indian made DE blade, which i'll be adding to my blade rotation in future shaves with no hesitation.

The Haslinger Schafmilch Sheep Milk Soap is absolutely magnificent, with only a slight clean pleasant fragrance, which some people will love or hate but without repeating myself the vast majority of shaving soap scents IMO disappears once i've rinse my face with cold water. The soap reminds me very much of MWF/Kent, + Scottish Fine Classic soap, which all contain lanolin what i really liked about is, it lathered up in no time without the addition of blooming it in hot tap water, creating a wonderful luxurious slick protective lather and a equally superb post shave feel to the face.My skin type really likes shaving soaps with lanolin added to them.A truly incredible shaving soap.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups near bbs with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

And for this last day before returning to work the theme for my shave was 'Cheat'

Need a shave
Need it quick
Need it in a haste
The knowledge, the trick
Reach for the OneBlade
The God of speed
Reach for the OneBlade
Agreed
The quickest of creams
And creams don't come quicker
Penahilgon's Bouquet
Thicker and slicker
Plissoft knot
RazorRock brush
Absolute perfection
When push comes to rush
Three pass shave
In Three minutes past
With, Against and Across
Really, that fast
A classy shave
And a shave of class
Shaved to perfection
Baby's smooth ass
The only thing
I really could bleat
No skill, no thrill
The OneBlade cheat
From ear to ear
And ear to chin
One wonderful shave
And a big inward grin
All that is needed
At the end of this night
Is to wish you all well
Goodnight

Outstanding effort!

Thur 29th August

Simpson Chubby 1 /Maggards 2band
Blues Soap
Schick E2- Canada WW2 Naval Issue
NOS Schick Super S/S - Holland [ 1 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

A bit of a Wow Shave today !. The Razor a little used E2 is a smooth shaver but when fitted with a NOS Dutch Schick Blade it is incredibly smooth, especially when used in conjunction with the slippery lather produced by the Blues Soap. I had forgotten just how refreshed the skin felt after using that soap, no A/S Really needed.

Must be careful how I use these blades, which have been referred to by a Scottish Gentleman as "The Dogs Danglies", they are without doubt the best I have ever used and that includes the Prolines. I have a few left and will probably ration them to certain favourite Razors.

Today's shave could be themed orange and also new. New, fresh from the post, Apricus soap, Floïd aftershave, and the Ikon X3 slant head on an Ikon short bulldog handle. A fabulous shave was the result. The soap created a rich and nicely scented lather, the Ikon was smooth and close, and the Floïd aftershave's menthol was astonishingly persistent and pleasant on a warm day.
