A nice, close result was had by going very carefully. I’m finding the Pal a little too assertive for my preferences. A great little razor, although it will probably end up on the BST soon.

Special mention to the Valobra base on the soap. A top tier product.

The look on the faces of Dr Johnson and his mates says it all. Bloody May Bank Holiday Monday and raining again and the pubs have run out of beer! Problems with deliveries as the roads are all closed due extensive pot hole damage. :ROFLMAO:
Well here dahn souf it’s anyway raining and our local village pub is not a pub anymore as such, it’s now a “Gastro dining experience venue”. The new owner told me that there is no money to be made today in wet sales, only food. :oops:
However, on a brighter note the shave was top notch. Two passes (wtg,atg) plus pick ups and bbs result.

Of the Occams Razors that I have, this heavyweight is the one that I enjoy using the most. Extremely tactile in the hand and despite its bulk very manoeuvrable.

A pleasant two pass shave with the Henson aluminium razor. The Simpson brush, however, performed as poorly as yesterday, literally killing the lather in between passes. It was time for a shampoo. Twice through the shampoo and performance seemed to be restored. I’ll try with the same set up tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
