A wonderful lather with the Leodis soap and Mühle Classic brush this morning. The Feather razor showed it’s class despite a now past it’s prime blade, and still managed a close and very comfortable shave. I’m happy with that.

And very nice it was too.
Its always hard to choose one of the special razors i have, i am really glad the MM got an outing today, sublime, close and comfortable.
Finishing off with the Barts Balm Lime lotion and balm then a good splash of Vintage 4711, it seems this 4711 has a bit more Alcohol in it than the present version.

I will say I did fear for the razor though when doing the post shave clean, the plug was definitely in the sink when taking it apart, that hook is asking to be lost!

Hi Marc,
With a little practice the blade can be changed without fully removing the top cap "hook", slacken the handle until the top cap can be removed from the base with a tilt at the back and push forward from the "Hook", then, once blade is sitting on the base plate fit the top cap with the back up, slide it onto the "Hook", check alignment and tighten up.
